Hmmmm, did I get lost?

Guess so...feeling better these days thanks to Leslie's accupuncture and chinese medicine care. Have weaned off most of my meds :) Now I need to start exercising.

Got back from New Mexico thursday night, it was a lovely visit. The weather was fantastic, we even got a little snow to make it perfect! We stayed at Judith's beautiful home at Red River on the mountain :) Mom, Rebecca and I drove up together. We spent several days in Taos eating, shopping...spent alot of time knitting and visiting. Finished a few fo's...and trudged on with a few wip's. One evening I was awoken by a bit of tummy trouble...was sitting up on the sofa to sleep and the motion light went off, I looked out the window, and saw a black bear trapsing up the driving and down the side walk to the front, then he turned and went to the carport... wish I could have taken a photo!

Thought for the day...we are all God's children...teach our children empathy...Empathy is the capability to share and understand another's emotions and feelings. It is often characterized as the ability to "put oneself into another's shoes,"

Have a "Peaceful" Thursday

Your Word is "Peace"

You see life as precious, and you wish everyone was safe, happy, and taken care of.

Social justice, human rights, and peace for all nations are all important to you.

While you can't stop war, you try to be as calm and compassionate as possible in your everyday life.

You promote harmony and cooperation. You're always willing to meet someone a little more than halfway.

can I just say how bizarre some of these quizzes are? so close to home

heeee, got this from Robyn at Coffee and Cotton...too cute! type in "Unfortunately, Your Name" and google it... use the quotes... Here are some of mine

Unfortunately, Brenda, arriving for their date, walked in on him, and thought he was a pervert.

Unfortunately Brenda is not as popular as Cindy or Naomi.

Unfortunately, Brenda missed out on earning a medal in Women's 10m Air Pistol, when she wound up in 37th place.

Unfortunately, Brenda is tremendously fearful of other animals, and the other cats in the home picked on her endlessly.

Unfortunately, Brenda's boot really don't work well for touring and soon her feet were killing her.

Unfortunately, "Brenda" was determined to do everything by the company book and had no sense of humor.

Unfortunately, Brenda doesn’t see Mike as her dream guy

Unfortunately, Brenda had a very dysfunctional explanation for her voices.

Unfortunately, Brenda, you and I both know that many administrators in this county have no common sense

ok, this was just too funny...
